STEP 2: SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
We recommend that you submit your documents to our New Accounts department within 24 hours of your online application submission. Click on our "Live Chat" feature for the status of your new account setup. The following documents may be requested in accordance with your requested
account type.
FOR INDIVIDUAL AND JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDERS:
FXCM requires a copy of the following for each named account holder:
1) A photocopy of one form of a non-expired, government issued photo ID.
Your identification must clearly indicate your date of birth. All documents
that contain an expiration date must be valid, unless stated otherwise.
Examples of this include a:

2) A proof of residence dated within 6 months for the address indicated on the
application. (PO Boxes are not acceptable.)
Please note that we are unable to accept any statement or bill that has not been
received in its entirety. Information such as the billing name and address must be
visible, as well as the company that has issued the bill. Your document must not
be folded. Payment stubs are not acceptable, as they display limited information.
Confidential information such as an account number(s) may be removed at your
own discretion.
Examples of this include the following:

STEP 3: FUNDING YOUR ACCOUNT TO BEGIN TRADING
We recommend that you fund your account after you've received an e-mail confirmation that your account set-up is complete.
• To review all funding options and details, visit http://www.fxcm.com/depositing-funds.jsp.
• Most clients find a debit card, credit card, or bank wire to be the most convenient
way of funding.
• For starting balances under $10,000, a mini account is suggested.
• To view more on the free benefits of becoming a Gold client, which requires an account
balance of at
or over $25,000, visit http://www.fxcm.com/gold-accounts.jsp.
Once funds arrive in the name of the account holder, a permanent username will
be sent by e-mail, use this new permanent login information to access the FX
Trading Station and begin trading your new account!
Important Information: Please be sure to type or clearly print your e-mail address on the New Account Agreement, as this will be the medium used to contact you following the receipt of the application.
FXCM takes strong measures to prevent identity theft. Congress declared identity theft a federal crime in 1998 when it passed the Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act. This offense, in most circumstances, carries a maximum term of 15 years imprisonment, a fine, and criminal forfeiture of any personal property used or intended to be used to commit the offense.
